Lets introduce ID cards so we know who is donating money to whom and to ensure it was originally theirs and not stolen via ID theft and have all the donations channelled through a nationalised bank - Northern Rock - and have the donations regulated and capped as a factor of the donor's earnings automatically deducted at source so people will not know which party the other supports...
The way New Labour is going, spurred on by their policy decisions and implementation gaffes, we shall see an attempt to outlaw cash. I am certain Gordon would love it, so he could see what any person was buying at any moment across the entire country.
