Sorry, I had to just delete a load of random characters from this post as my jaw dropped onto the keyboard. I mean how can anyone put this forward without deafening dissonance over State "education"? The fundamental problems exist in the State sector. Their answer:- paper over the cracks, dab on some Savlon.
How about cutting down the razorwire that slices the future of our children into a bloody mess?
The solution is for the government to get OUT of Education provision. No more national curriculum. No more enforced exam boards. No more LEA stranglehold. Heads, teachers and parents know best. Leave them alone to get on with it.
